Aurora Light in Vancouver

Every year in Vancouver, we might have a couple of opportunities to see the Aurora light, but personally, I have never seen it until this year.  My friend texted me just before the midnight and let me know the Aurora light is happening right now.  To avoid the city light pollution, I drove to Porteau Cove where is about 40 min north of Vancouver downtown.  When I got there, there are already many photographers taking photos.  The light is not very obvious to my naked eyes, and it appears mostly in white, but pictures taken with long exposure indeed showing more green and purple.  Nevertheless, this was my first time to see the Aurora light, and it’s incredible!
